Please note that this story is subject to change. Like, seriously. There can and will be subplots and episodic plots that go unmentioned in this timeline. Grey text may be changed, added, or removed in the future.
ACT 0: Before Everything Else...
????
- Nyarlat is a Thing that Exists. They're essentially a messenger for a group of absurdly powerful alien-demon things. Problem is, they've all stopped talking to each other, and him by proxy (they never really liked her anyways). So they've been fucking around for a very, very long time.
- For a while now, they've been screwing with this neat little thing called humanity. They're absolutely enamored by the little guys, and how they act and interact. Specifically, their reactions to dire situations. Like the end of the world. You see where this is going.
- So they've been roaming around various parallel Earths and having fun little adventures via driving people insane and causing them to beat the crap out of everything in their path. The way they've begun doing this as of late is turning said person into a sort of warlock/magical girl thing and getting them to snap and destroy everything. Then they're disposed of, and that's that.
- Moments before they reach this version of Earth, they permanently lose the ability to time travel through unknown means. They do not like talking about this.
Somewhere in the 1600s
- A fairy is born somewhere deep in the woods, along with a cabin and the ability to control fate. She stays there for the rest of her life.
- Eventually a group of explorers arrive searching for a supposed rare portal, and with the help of the fairy, soon to be known as Abby, they begin a town named Embarca.
1993
- Abigail Merryweather, age 8, accidentally gives her name to Abby. She robs a majority of her lifespan to maintain immortality– and, taking a liking for what was in store for her, her identity– leaving her with only a few years left to live. As she's unable to call herself her old name anymore, she just calls herself Merryweather, or Merry.
ACT 1: Sunset Kid
1997
- Soon, she meets up with a group of kids, all conned by the same fairy in the past years– Arturo Vargas, Jonathan Holguín, Harley Fujirei, and Carmen Carter. They all try to escape their fates one way or another, meet a Crazy Cast of Characters™, and hijinks ensue.
- ...that is, until Merry gets caught in Hell during a bucket list trip and is trapped there to be put to work as a security guard of sorts. (At least she gets immortality, so it works out...?)
- It gets worse once Harley murders her brother, Gary Fujirei, in order to nab his soul after her soul is accidentally destroyed by her brother's friend/ghostwriter (ghostproducer?), Reflex. Not too long afterwards, Harley flees the state.
- Hijinks still kind of ensue, but not particularly for the kids– everyone is feeling rather uneasy.
1998
- ...especially Carmen. She soon undergoes a ritual with the help of a new friend to gain invincibility and possibly protect Embarca. Tada, the first Mahou in this universe is made!
- People caught on to her new-found powers (especially because of all the crimes she was blatantly committing) and ended up starting a war trying to find her for one reason or another. Even worse, she continues instigating and seems to accept this war way too easily.
- Johnny flees the area.
- Arturo attempts to become a Mahou for another entity and makes a major mistake, killing him immediately and leaving him as an undiscovered husk.
- Sometime during the war, Byrnes Conservatory was destroyed. The people in charge of it have essentially disappeared off the face of the earth.
- Two months after the deal, Embarca gets nuked in a moment of desperation and Carmen is thought to be dead. Abby is also caught in the blast, rendering all the deaths from her curse as pointless.
Intermission 1
2003
- Johnny eventually is able to remove the Sunset Curse, which was previously impossible without the fairy in question.
2008
- Carmen rips her tie off, after becoming aware of the psychic link between her and Nyarlat and freaking out. She can think for herself now, but she gradually begins to become whatever Nyarlat is, and her powers become extremely unstable.
- Okay. To Nyarlat, this is... not ideal. Given the fact that Carmen already started her ascension to old-godhood, and that she was already predisposed to Not Dying, they can't exactly just get rid of her like they had with past rogue Mahous.
- Thing is, they don't exactly want to reveal themself to her either– after all that's happened, she's absolutely going to attack them when the opportunity arises, and Nyarlat has enough rivals as-is.
- Still, they're determined to get one last apocalypse in, even if it means they'll have to start over again. All they need to do is not receive too much attention from their old Mahou. How hard could that be?
- After this, all serious injuries that are not in the immediate vicinity of Carmen or not given any mind can and will become a duplicate of Carmen (and she doesn't realize this until a few years later). To avoid confusion and remain anonymous, she refers to herself as "Cici".
2014
- Harley moves to New North City.
- Several people return to the ruined Embarca to try and restore it in secret. Among said people are Johnny and Rey, an angel.
ACT 2: Kyourift
2016
- Mercedes Adenia, a young woman from Lime Hills, meets Renee Reed for the first time, and quickly befriends them. Soon, they convince her to become a Mahou and run her through the process. They tell her to not tell anyone about the little ritual they used, lest this power gets into the wrong hands. Mercedes promises to not do so, agreeing that this is serious business.
- ...Mercedes accidentally reveals the source of her powers a month later to her pals Blues Campbell and Phoebe Dyer, and they both become Mahous a few days later with her loosely-accurate help. Renee, hearing of the incident, tells Mercedes that they don't trust her anymore, and the two stop talking to each other.
- Nyarlat– er, Renee– is actually rather miffed about this. This is their thing. They didn't want any other eldritch beings getting involved in their plan, especially since there's a walking, talking consequence of their actions running around on Earth. Small change of plans: prioritize the Mahous when destroying the world. It'll be fine.
2017
- The knowledge of Mahous spreads further; soon the "Supernatural Derivatives" wing of Miskatonic University is built and the Trinity is researching stuff as well as becoming popular on social media. (This is when the term "Mahou" is coined, along with other terminology.)
- However, Mercedes has been growing more and more cocky and violent when in-costume and off-camera. She begins to obtain Mahou cores through Not Great Means for the sake of research (according to her, anyways); Blues and Phoebe are unaware of this, and were told that all the Mahous said cores were taken from were extremely malicious and refused to back down, leaving her no choice. They also don't realize that there are a lot more cores lying around than they think.
- Jesse "August" Silva becomes a Mahou and becomes the founder of a thief guild specifically for Reflection Mahous, the Shattered Hearts Club. Accompanying him as a mentor and co-founder is Charlie Vogel.
- Blaise Shepard becomes a Mahou and begins her job as a hitman. However, she realizes the psychic link is a thing mid-transformation and panics, botching the transformation process. Thus, her powers are weaker, more unstable, and generally differing from what her subset is supposed to have.
- The Supernatural Derivation Defense Agency (or the SDDA) is secretly established by The Government™.
2018
- The Mahou craze is in full swing at this point, and seeing anime fights go down becomes rather commonplace.
- August is, quite literally, kicked out of his guild due to abuse of his power; Vogel takes his place. He decides to steal shit independently instead, quickly gaining a reputation.
- Blues briefly returns to his hometown, Sunport, and meets up with his old childhood frenemy Leslie de Loch, who has been looking into more obscure Mahou stuff and wants to join the SD Lab gang. Blues, aware of the overwhelming stress brought on by the position and unwilling to put Leslie through it, refuses. They are now full-blown rivals. Yay?
- Blaise starts to make videos and livestreams as Glassmoon.
- Gwen Lumley and Dorian Flat become Mahous for the sole purpose of fucking around and feeling cool, possibly even starting a group. Their friend, Agnes Warren, thinks it's neat and has an idea of what subset she'd like, but decides it's not worth the potential danger.
- Leslie de Loch becomes a Mahou after two months of research and accidentally freezes Sunport the moment she does so. Soon she learns the extent of her powers and the fact that she doesn't experience any notable psychic side-effects; instead, her worldview is utterly shaken immediately after becoming a Mahou and seeing things. She keeps the town frozen to continue her studies in peace and generally do whatever she wants.
- Unbeknownst to Gwen, Dorian takes part in an experiment promising to reverse becoming a Mahou (it goes horribly wrong and he becomes a funny goat man but shhhh). As far as anyone else knows, he mysteriously disappeared.
Fresh Air
- Gwen is attacked by an unknown person (it's actually August trying to rob the place but shhhh) and is confronted by her parents afterwards about this whole "Mahou" thing; this adds to the stress of Dorian's disappearance and just being a Mahou in general, and she ends up using Adrenaline Break, immediately killing them and knocking out herself. Once she wakes up, she flees.
- Gwen, now going by the nickname Sanguine, and a now-transformed Agnes start a search across the city for Dorian.
- They eventually come across The Shattered Hearts Club, who don't have anything to do with this as far as they're aware, but will help them out and accomodate them for now.
- The current leader, Charlie, recognizes Sanguine's wound as the work of August and plans to use her plight to seek them out (unbeknownst to the rest of the club, who considered it a bad and unnecessary course of action).
- The two girls continue to take pointers from the Club and Charlie continues to look into the situation– both concerning Dorian and the break-in (but mostly the break-in, as she's become a bit obsessed frankly). She eventually ends up at the Lumley residence and puts two and two together, albeit making some unfortunate assumptions about Sanguine in the process.
- Meanwhile, a fallout of sorts happens between San and Agnes, with the former wanting to continue the search and the latter believing it to be a lost cause after hitting so many dead ends.
- Said fallout is interrupted by Charlie, who confronts San about hiding things. Everything escalates until Charlie attacks Agnes due to repeatedly butting in the conversation, and San retaliates.
- A fight breaks out that puts everyone in the hideout at risk, and all hell breaks loose. San kills Charlie, and leaves the Club, still not elaborating on what's happening to Agnes.
- Sometime after this, Agnes becomes the mascot/head of the Club.
- Rumor has it that a new Mahou patron, or "Rep", was created, courtesy of the Trinity; Dorian is announced to be dead soon after he mysteriously disappeared.
Training Montage
- Marilan Moore is mugged and nearly killed by Agnes in a fit of frustration; after two days and a whole lot of impulsion, she becomes a Mahou in order to become a vigilante. Her friend, Zavier Henderson, follows suit soon after that to support Mari if necessary. The duo head to the salt flats in their hometown to become familiar with their new abilities.
- During this time Marilan becomes aware of her, um... condition. Sleep no longer comes easily to her.
- There's been reports of some Violent Shenanigans. Mari sets off to her first stop, in uptown New North City, and finds Sanguine, under the assumption that it's her attacker (because Nickel Mahous aren't known for using knives). After more miscommunication, particularly over what happened with Charlie, the two fight.
- However, both are going easy on each other for differing reasons, and the situation is cleared up after some banter. Mari offers to let her crash at her apartment for the time being.
- Sanguine finds Mari's reasons for becoming a Mahou as pretty cool, and wants to stick around and help. Marilan is not happy about that, and would rather she return to normal life as soon as possible. But she concedes, as Sanguine's circumstances make that difficult. She allows her to stay until San feels okay about going elsewhere, but still refuses to let her help.
- ...San proceeds to crash her next gig. They both kick absolute ass. Marilan is pissed about this. But it doesn't seem like San will let this pass, so she lets her tag along.
- Meanwhile, Zavier begins frequenting the city to allow easier travel, and starts visiting a huge Mahou hotspot: Rosegold Bay.
On the Radar
- A hitman has been running around and killing people. Mari and San go to the next stop, Lime Hills' convention center, where an expo is starting its first day.
- The two witness a hit take place and soon after they find Blaise Shepard, their target, elsewhere in the building. They attempt to take her out sneakily, but end up fighting in the center of the event and publicly getting their asses handed to them.
- The next day of the expo, the duo are recuperating in their hotel room. They receive an awkward visit from an SDDA agent, and are now aware that the agency is aware of them.
- Sometime later, Blaise approaches Mari while she and San were trying to regroup and find a good plan. Blaise, always a good sport, requests a rematch as the crowded location of the last fight made it "unfair". The two can feel the shit-eating vibes absolutely radiating off of them, but they have a shot at getting to her without the need for stealth so yippee–
- Mari and San actually work smarter this time around, and Blaise is defeated; after the stream ends, she asks about joining the two on whatever wacky adventure they're on. They let her tag along, and she stops her hitman business, becoming a full-time streamer.
- The Not-Quite-Horsemen meet a Mahou documenter and online pal of Blaise, Renee. The group began to joke about Blaise becoming more popular than Goodinator, the popular influencer and Mahou researcher. This was recorded by another fan and posted online– A good chonk of both fandoms go batshit insane as a result. (they seem to interpret this rivalry more seriously than intended. What happened...?)
- The gang keeps in touch with Renee through the Glassmoon Fiasco server; they begin to serve as an informant to the group.
- Meanwhile, Zavier meets August during one trip to the bay and they both find out about rumors of a contained Rep at Miskatonic; a partnership born from curiosity ensues, with Zavier not wanting this to go unnoticed by the public, and August wanting to steal it as a huge power move.
Week at Sunport
- Apparently a small coastal town has just gone off the grid. Mari and co. head over to the next stop, Sunport. Upon hanging out in a luxury train frozen in time, they find Leslie, ass freshly kicked by Blues– who returned a second time and saw what happened when he left.
- Leslie, seeing this as an opportunity to get back at Blues and possibly hijacking the SD Lab, joins the team, placing the blame of the frozen town on them.
- The day is reset several times over, as the gang is too unpredictable for Leslie and somehow keeps figuring out or screwing up her plans. As this goes on, San, persistently being near her for the previous resets, starts to become aware of the time tomfuckery.
- Leslie gives up at the end of many, many attempts. She tells them the truth, and threatens them with keeping them stuck in the loop forever until they agree to help her (including Blues).
- Of course, she gets beat up. Everyone gets her to resume time again, moves on to other things, and Leslie remains just outside Sunport, not wanting to set foot in there again.
- ...except a few days later, San heads back to Sunport unannounced and convinces Leslie to come with the others, officially forming The Horsemen of the Apocalypse (a nickname that was coined by San).
Intermission 2
- Harley, during a forest hike, comes across a nice little house near the sea. The resident of said house is a Carmen clone. The two have a nice chat; She seems nice, maybe she should come by again soon.
- Now let's get back to our Trinity real quick. All of them at this point feel like they may be going too far with this, especially with the whole "accidentally sacrificed a teenager" thing, and are considering stopping the program; but they can't really do so since not only do they feel obligated to stick together, but the foundations that are funding them and the several thousands, if not millions of Goody stans are uh, kind of a thing. So they stay. (Said sacrificed teenager has remained in stasis since the incident.)
- As a side note, Mercedes begins investigating her hypothesis about "Awoken Mahous", ones that get so in-sync with their Rep that they gain a huge boost in potential.
- Things plateau and calm down for a sec here. The Horsemen are chatting, the Trinity is doing their own thing, Renee's getting impatient, and the boys– oh no...
The Breakout
- The plan is finalized, and the night has arrived. The goal is to find the Rep, and possibly get them out of there, getting a good look at all the Science Shit in the process. Zavier figures it'd be of interest to others, like Marilan's new weird little friend.
- During the heist they meet Danza, an alien-human hybrid who could warp reality. (Except he has no idea how to do that yet.) They find out this is that one kid on the news who disappeared, and decide to break him out.
- However, they end up setting an alarm off, and nearly get their asses kicked by Phoebe and Blues before getting the hell out of there.
- Danza keeps in touch, but tells them to not make a big deal about his existence, unwilling to deal with the chaos that would cause.
- You may have noticed Mercedes wasn't there! She was actually patrolling the city tonight– she's basically a superhero in her freetime, whatever little she has. Coincidentally enough, Marilan is also out on the town for crime fighting.
- Note that by this point the two have encountered each other and fought plenty of times– since before Blaise even showed up, in fact. (It's a shame, because admittedly, Mercedes was a source of inspiration for Mari before then.) Mari had more-or-less accepted this; vigilante or not, she became a Mahou through illegal means. Still, it'd be nice if Mercedes wasn't such a dick about it...
- They end up meeting again– not in pursuit of someone else this time, it's just them. So they take this opportunity to confront each other. Which devolves into arguing. Aaaand now it's physical. Of course, they're both trying a lot harder since no one else's involved, but Mercedes is coming across as genuinely scary during this– she's not gonna actually kill Marilan, is she...?
- No, that can't be right, Mercedes doesn't go that far unless absolutely necessary, she'd ne- okay she's breaking out the cannons Mari's gonna die.
- They have some distressing banter throughout the fight, and it becomes apparent to Mari that there may be something wrong with the head of the SD Labs. She manages to finally knock her out, and immediately runs off because fuck that. Mercedes wakes up soon after, and figures that chasing her down just isn't worth it right now.
- Mari goes home to deal with a broken pedestal, her view of the lab gang tarnished forever. Mercedes goes home to uh... address a crush.
Beginning of the End
- Blaise is soon contacted by Phoebe to talk about the whole rivalry situation and the two decide to start a collaboration to settle everything. Sure, they might be dealing with a missing reality warper, but they can't stop that Streamer Grind.
- And while that is happening, Mari is binge reading conspiracy theories with Leslie. What? There weren't any reports of weird shit going on at that moment, cut them some slack. They soon find out about the summer home equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle and decide to investigate.
- The two make their way to the edge of the forest and the coast and meet Cici, a Mahou who's also a Carmen clone (which, while not completely unheard of, is a rare sight). And then they promptly get their asses kicked because they were trespassing. Except Cici happens to be in a good mood (and also gets bored of them fairly quickly), so she spares them and invites them over so they can recover, conveniently enough.
- At some point during the discussion the three are having, Leslie begins to get pushy with Cici (much to Mari's dismay) and the two end up figuring out that this isn't just any Carmen– this is the Carmen. The duo is internally freaking out (for different reasons, mind you), and Cici tells them to keep it a secret or else she'll kill them. Leslie begrudgingly accepts, unlike Mari who is spouting apologies at this point, and the two leave.
- While the tea party is happening, Blaise and Sanguine are making a fun little live vlog with the Trinity on the Miskatonic campus near the lab. August and Zavier, unaware that two of them are Marilan's pals (the latter because he wasn't watching then and the former because they literally don't know), decide to call in the SDDA to screw up the stream as payback for sacrificing Danza. So they do that.
- Cue several SDDA officers surrounding the group and preparing to Fight™. Some fighting does happen, but the confusion is cleared up quickly– except some of the officers figured the problem was inside the lab. They come across some Real Incriminating Shit, particularly files pertaining to Danza and cores. Turns out Mercedes might be pulling some shady shenanigans!
- The Trinity is kicked out of Miskatonic, and Goodinator has just become a lot more problematic. As for Blaise and San, they're just happy they got off scot-free; but they can't help but wonder what was in that lab.
- Cici, becoming suspicious of Harley's frequent visits after the tea break, decides to return the favor and arrive at her place– in the middle of the night while inflicting sleep paralysis on Harley. (Don't fuck with dream demöns, kids.)
- However, the two start talking; Harley realizes that this is The Real Carmen™, and Cici finally recognizes her from all those years ago at Embarca. They make up, sorta? Harley's still a bit freaked out by all of this.
- In other news, Danza is extremely upset and almost takes out a bit of the city during his attempt to beat the shit out of August and Zavier. He's talked down, but he's still kinda upset.
Rise and Shine
Part 1
- San and Danza have a nice reunion at the Flat residence, and the latter is introduced to Leslie. Meanwhile, Marilan is still processing everything that's going on.
- She decides they should probably check out that lab at Miskatonic, considering the shit that had apparently gone down there. Since it's currently guarded by the SDDA, she gets Blaise, Zavier and August on board to sneak in (Sanguine and Leslie were left out for different reasons).
- Mari, searching through some drawers, finds Mercedes's notebook– and after skimming some things, realizes that she got her powers with the help of Renee. This... changes things a bit. She takes the book with her. She tells the rest of the gang, and someone tries to contact Renee themself, to no answer. In fact, it looks like their entire online presence just... vanished.
- While this is happening, Mercedes is visited by a very apologetic-looking Renee, who wants to just have a chat with her again. However, the reunion turns sour, as Renee reveals that they were her Rep and tried to get her to snap.
- Mercedes, absolutely horrified, tears off her tie in order to separate herself from Renee and stop them from trying to wreak havoc. The bow fades, and it soon becomes apparent that it was a fake tie– the real one is underneath her skin. Mercedes loses consciousness.
- The Horsemen and co. are out of the lab, and– what the fuck is that.
- It's Mercedes(?)! Except she's decked out in flowers and tag-teaming with Renee! They're going to end this world with a bang– it's the Apocalypse!
Part 2
- Practically all the Mahous in the area are trying to stop them; except the two can KO pretty much all the Mahous in the city very easily. This is the one Mahou who can straight-up disintegrate another Mahou. Even Cici, who has made a comeback after being convinced by Harley, ends up in pretty rough condition.
- The group try to help evacuate everybody (seeking out the missing Horsemen in the process), but Marilan is singled out by Mercedes and gets dragged into the fray. Soon after, she realizes that this huge thing is Renee.
- The city's being destroyed. People are dying left and right. The Horsemen can't hold them off much longer. And Mari's fucking pissed. So what does she do? What any sensible person would do in a situation like this: she throws herself at Renee and just... goes fucking ham on them as everyone watches.
- She does manage to get a bit of damage done, but even that wasn't enough, and now she's all weak. Renee congratulates her for holding up for so long during that little moment, then goes on to land the final blow with a vine.
- Marilan thinks about what to do. Noting Mercedes' notes, and the fact that her extreme lack of energy is allowing that constant stimuli to seep through her head, she figures her last hope is to attempt to reach an Awoken state. Oh fuck is her chest supposed to be glowing–
- Mari catches the vine before it hits. She's able to turn the tide! Not to mention that during this entire fight, Leslie has been building up the largest time-stop she'll ever cast– larger than the stop around Sunport. She sets it off, trapping Renee and Mercedes before the fight carries on for longer than the now literally melting Mari can handle. With that, the duo are blasted into nothing.
- Whoop they're dead– And uh, so are a lot of other people. But hey, Mari's alive, somehow! Pretty fried, mentally, physically, and spiritually, but able to recover. So the Horsemen's work here is done, let the SDDA take care of this...
ACT 2.5?: "Post-Apocalypse" Kyourift
2019
- The city's being rebuilt and Mahous are slightly less wild now, worried about something like that happening again. (Just slightly.)
- Mari is taking some time off in the hospital, still reeling from the fight but getting better. The Horsemen and their cohorts are given a sort of "pardon of honor" by the SDDA, becoming somewhat official Mahous even if their track records aren't entirely clean just yet. Marilan in particular has been getting a lot of letters to join the SDDA.
- In fact, that whole legality situation is generally being debated like crazy now that those rebuilding Embarca have begun to give input on the subject.
- Renee isn't dead, as killing her is nigh-impossible. However, their rampage has simultaneously drawn attention as expected and had no consequences, as the Old Gods aren't concerned with them in the slightest– being severely weakened and without any standing in the Mahou war (in addition to already being sort of forgotten). Instead, the apocalypse has spread awareness of the trend to a global scope and far, far beyond.
Return to Sender
- Phoebe revives Mercedes with the help of Cici and Leslie among others. (Mercedes didn't even really die, due to the sheer power she possessed during the fight with Mari, but it's a revival in spirit.) She's scarred for life and lacking magic, but mostly okay, and she stays at the Carter residence for a while to recover.
- Speaking of Cici, she's still getting better at this whole "reality warping" thing, and so is Danza.
- And speaking of Danza, he and San get together with Agnes, and they have a heartfelt(?) reunion. Mari is there, too! She meets Agnes, and the two of them recognize each other immediately! They are very very upset by this information but don't make it apparent to the others, simply opting to not interact too much. (The former out of discomfort, the latter from pure, unadulterated fear because "holy fuck I mugged the leader of the Horsemen". Note that Mari does kinda forgive her, she just doesn't want to do anything with her).
- Meanwhile, Cthugha, who has been practically haunted by the events of Rise and Shine ever since it was released from Marilan's Awoken Form, decides to begin working on a vessel and make a few trips to this odd new world for the sake of closure. It's visiting Embarca, specifically, under the pseudonym "Mu Alpheratz".
Sunrise of the Dead
- At this point, Embarca has come far enough in its restoration to reopen, just in time for one of the events it's known for: The Seafarers Tourney, a fighting tournament for magic users.
- Said Tourney is hosted by Rey and Morningstar, The Literal Fucking Devil. (Johnny may technically be the city's ambassador, but he's not really up for this kind of thing, so Star covered for him. No, he wasn't given much of a choice.)
- The gang (sans a few people... i.e. Carmen) take a trip to Embarca, as Blaise and Marilan were invited to compete.
- Unfortunately, it soon becomes apparent that there's some kind of mysterious power influencing the competition; what's even more concerning is that it especially seems to affect Mari, giving her a noticeable edge in fights (one that she's only interpreted as just doing well under pressure– genuinely not realizing there's anything suspicious).
- With a good amount of people under the impression that Marilan is cheating or that the tournament is rigged in some other way, it's put on hiatus for further investigation. Shenanigans ensue!
- (...wait, where the hell did Marilan go?)
- Shortly after the start of those shenanigans, Rey and Johnny notice what's going down and opt to start their own effort to get to the bottom of this. Harley decides to tag along– partly as an excuse to hang out, and partly because she noted the fact that the dense amount of spirits in the city are going haywire, which is concerning for someone not entirely bound to her body.
- Etc etc... I won't get into this bit yet.
